Two trades, same level of detail

One profitable, one not. Both are broken down to the contract, because a record that only explains its winners is not a record.

    04 · It worked (the off-menu trade)

    TSLA strangle

    $1,115Total profit
    24Days held
StructureSTO 305 put and STO 580 call, 1/16 expiry
    Size5 contracts each leg
    Entry$4.03 net credit
Exit$1.80 combined, both sides bought to close
    Per contract$223

Sold premium on both sides, closed at roughly half the credit rather than holding for the last of it. Ordinary outcome for the setup. A strangle is not one of the six core income strategies. We show it because it is the riskiest thing we do, and the record has to include that too.

    05 · It did not

    BULL LEAP call

    −100%Final contract
    14Months held
StructureLong LEAP call, 15 strike, 7/17/2026 expiry
    OpenedMay 2025, 4 contracts
First exit3 of 4 contracts closed at +38% within days
Final exitLast contract sold for a total loss, −$420
Net, all four+$60, or +3.57% over 14 months

Taking profits early is the only reason this campaign ended positive. The thesis was wrong: BULL made no progress in 14 months, and 3.57% over that period is a poor use of capital even though the sign is right. It counts as a win in the record, and both descriptions are accurate.

    06 · Method

    How these numbers are produced

    01

    One contract per trade

Every figure assumes the smallest possible position.

Nobody's account matches this. It is a unit you can multiply by your own size, which is more useful than a number we chose.

    02

    Counted only when closed

    Open positions contribute nothing.

81 positions were open at the end of September and are counted at zero, favourable or not. Unrealised gains never appear in a total.

    03

    One trade, start to finish

A trade counts in the month it closes.

A rolled position is one trade, start to finish, however many times it was rolled along the way.

    04

    The recorded outcome

The result is the trade's recorded outcome in the tradebook, per contract.

It is the same record CSH Analytics audits monthly and annually, read the way they read it.

    05

    Blanks stay blank

Where the record cannot support a number, we leave it out.

A trade with no recorded result is counted nowhere and said so in a footnote. Nothing is estimated to fill a column.

    06

    Checked by someone else

CSH Analytics reviews the raw record, monthly and annually.

They have audited it since April 2023. Their latest annual report covers the 760 trades closed 1 July 2025 to 28 July 2026, and it is linked at the top of this page. Losing trades stay posted; the count above is the count.

    07 · Questions

    Questions we get asked

What is Cash Flow University's audited win rate?

Between 1 July 2025 and 28 July 2026, CFU closed 760 trades: 706 won and 54 lost, a 92.9% win rate. Average win $148, average loss $519, profit factor 3.73, one contract per trade. Audited by CSH Analytics.

What options strategies does Cash Flow University teach?

Six income strategies: covered calls, cash-secured puts, put credit spreads, call credit spreads, iron condors, and select long calls. Every alert lists the strikes, the expiration, the position size, and the stated risk before you take the trade.

How much capital do I need to start?

Around $5,000. The spreads need enough capital to run properly, and cash-secured puts and covered calls need enough to hold 100 shares. Below $5,000 the membership costs more than the account can reasonably return, and we would rather say so than take the money.

Is Cash Flow University suitable for beginner traders?

Yes. The strategy library starts with foundational options concepts and moves through the income strategies. Every alert includes the ticker, strike, expiration and order details, so a beginner can follow along while learning why the trade was taken.

How quickly will I see results?

Nobody honest can tell you that. Most members paper trade the setups for a few weeks before committing capital, which is the path we suggest and it is slower than you want. What we publish is every closed trade, wins and losses, so you can judge the process rather than a promise.

How much time does it take each week?

Most members spend 15 to 30 minutes a day reviewing alerts and managing open positions. No day trading and no chart watching. Options Level 3 with margin is the setup CFU is built for, because many posted trades are spreads and condors and you will miss a lot of them without that approval.

How does Cash Flow University work?

Members join a private Discord with 1,200+ traders. Each market day, traders post alerts with the ticker, strikes and fill price the moment their order fills. Moderators answer questions during market hours.

    What support is included?

Community chat access, moderator support during market hours, and direct answers from the traders running the board. Questions about a setup, an account configuration or a strategy get answered in the same channel the trades are posted in.

    What happens if I cancel?

You keep access to the end of the period you paid for and nothing renews. There is no cancellation fee and no phone call. All purchases are non-refundable, including Lifetime.

The positions behind these numbers are posted live.

Each post carries its entry, size and stated risk.
